PRCA Rodeo Announcer Doc Boene

PRCA Rodeo Announcer Doc BoenePRCA and California Circuit Announcer Doc Boene will be coming to Bakersfield for the tenth time to announce the Stampede Days Rodeo. Doc will be promoting all the generous sponsors who support the rodeo and our western way of life, while at the same time bringing his own brand of magic and humor to the Rodeo spectators.

Doc not only comes from a rich ranching heritage, he has a working knowledge of the cowboy lifestyle. He manages a 60-year-old commercial cattle operation on the Loop Ranch in Keene, California. His understanding of the cowboy way of life makes it possible for him to convey the thoughts and feelings of the cowboys to the fans in the grandstands.

Staying busy at about 35 to 40 events a year as a professional announcer, Doc can be heard announcing various rodeos, ranch rodeos, bull ridings and horse shows throughout the western United States. He is the official voice of the Bad Bulls Tour that stops each year in Tehachapi on July 4th and the LaGrange Rodeo, which is the largest one-day rodeo in the west. Doc is also the announcer for the Western Region College Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada at the new South Coast Arena for the eighth time; and the California State High School Rodeo Association Finals for the tenth time. He was again voted the Announcer of the Year by the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association for the twelfth straight year and continues to announce various AQHA shows including: the West Coast Congress, the prestigious Sun Circuit in Scottsdale, Arizona and the Scottsdale Classic.

In addition to the AQHA circuit, Doc has announced most of the major draft horse, mule and donkey shows on the West coast, and has been invited back for the sixth year to be the official voice of the Los Angeles County Fair Draft Horse, Mule, Donkey and Antique Carriage Show that runs a full week at the largest county fair in the nation. Additionally, Doc was invited to announce the World Clydesdale Show in Madison Wisconsin. There were several nations represented at the show and this show only happens every four years. This was the first time in several decades that the show was held in the United States.

Prepare yourself to participate as Doc brings the arena action up close and live for the fans in the stands.
